” ‘Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist whe you grow up’. Picasso
We’ve heard this type of statement before, in a variety of forms and translations, about getting back to a child-like view of the world. Creativitiy comes from an alternative view of communication, so it would make sense that we could foster a more creative mindset simply by reverting back to a child-like view of the world, where everything was new and we took everything at face value, and risk wasn’t something to be avoided, but rather embraced. I WANT TO PLAY ! That Picasso quote is right on- when we were kids, everyone was an artist, and we didn’t care about the quality of the work . Our art was 100% expression.”
